Sunday games cancelled moved to Monday

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State's Sunday baseball games with Concordia University, St. Paul have been cancelled due to rain in the Bemidji, Minn. area. The two teams will attempt to complete the final three games of their four game series on Monday at noon from the BSU Baseball Field.

Bemidji State dropped a 4-2 decision in game one on Saturday night. Game two was started with a pitch from BSU's Matt Fossen (So., RHP, Bemidji, Minn.) to CU's leadoff batter Jake Schmidt and was then postponed. Game two will be resumed at noon on Monday with games three and four to follow.

BSU is currently 13-32 overall and 6-20 in the NSIC while CU is 31-13 overall and 12-10 in conference play. The Beavers are currently 13-20 in the all-time series with the Golden Bears and are currently on a five-game losing skid to CU.

The Beavers will honor its ten seniors on Monday afternoon in between game two and game three from the BSU baseball field.

Bemidji State University, located in Bemidji, Minn., is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
