He earned NSIC Player of the Week earlier that season and in total BSU had three weekly awards in 2010. Under head coach Tim Bellew the Beavers have had six NSIC player or pitchers of the week.

BSU (10-8, 3-1 NSIC) now turns its attention to home games, opening a 14-game homestand March 31 when University of Minnesota Duluth visits Bemidji, Minn. and BSU Baseball Field for an NSIC doubleheader.
