Wednesday's baseball home opener pushed back to Thursday at 2 p.m.

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Due to field conditions at the BSU Baseball Field, the Bemidji State University baseball team’s home opener scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 has been pushed back to Thursday, April 10. The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader versus Wayne State College is slated to begin at 2 p.m.

The Beavers (11-10, 5-3 NSIC) are coming off a road trip to University of Mary April 6-7. BSU won three of four games versus the Marauders and are 8-3 in its last 11 games. Wayne State (15-11, 8-4 NSIC) won three out of four in a home league series versus Sioux Falls April 6-7. WSC split day one, winning 3-0 before falling 5-4, but swept the second doubleheader with 5-3 and 13-3 victories.
