This decision is based on the evolving COVID-19 public health threat, our ability to ensure the events do not contribute to spread of the pandemic, and the impracticality of hosting such events at any time during this academic year given ongoing decisions by other entities.”
The cancelation of the 2020 spring championships includes the NCAA DII Baseball Tournament previously scheduled for May 30-June 6 in Cary, North Carolina.
Further updates about the status of the 2020 Beaver Baseball season will be communicated as soon as information becomes available.
