Infielder Levi Lampert bumps Beaver Baseball signing class to 15

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University Interim Head Baseball Coach Matt Ellinghuysen announced that infielder Levi Lampert has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the program in the Fall of 2022. Lampert becomes the 15th member of the Beaver Baseball incoming freshman class.

All student-athletes’ acceptances are contingent upon admission to BSU and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.

Levi Lampert, a 6-foot infielder from Upsala, Minn., is a letter winner in baseball at Upsala Area School under head coach Adams Gerads. He was named the All-Prairie Conference Most Outstanding Hitter, a two-time Gold Glove winner and a two-time Team MVP. Lampert was also a letter winner in basketball and football. He earned Prairie Conference MVP twice, all-conference and Team MVP honors three times in basketball. Lampert was named the Mid-State District Blue Wide Receiver of the Year in 2020 and 2021 and was named to the Minnesota 2021 All-Star Game in football.

Lampert was born April 22, 2004 to parents Kevin and Carol Lampert. He is an “A” Honor Roll member, a member of the National Honor Society and was selected 2021 Minnesota Academic All-State. Lampert is undecided on a major at BSU.
