2017 (Senior): Named to 2017 All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Second Team... Started all 48 games played in at shortstop... Led BSU with 131 fielding assists (third in the NSIC), 53 hits and four sacrifice bunts... Ranked second on team with a .323 batting average, 164 at-bats, 71 total bases, 48 starts and nine doubles... Finished third on the team with a .433 slugging percentage, .374 on-base percentage and three home runs... Ranked fourth on the team with 183 total plate appearances, 26 runs scored and 24 RBI... Finished with 15 multiple-hit games, including the team's only five-hit performance May 4, 2017 at St. Cloud State University... Capped his career third all-time in program history in fielding assists and fifth in most double plays turned.

2016 (Junior): Started and played in 45 games… Hit .257 from the plate with 37 total base knocks… Drove in 15 RBI and scored 27 runs… Notched 10 extra-base hits, including eight doubles, one triple and one home run… Finished with a .366 on-base percentage and a .347 slugging percentage… Recorded a .918 fielding percentage on 58 putouts and 133 assists… Tallied a career high two doubles and one triple April 15 versus University of Sioux Falls.

2015 (Sophomore): Played in 25 games and started 21... Batted .289 with 22 hits, including three doubles and five home runs to lead the team... Charted 76 at bats, scored 10 runs and and had 16 RBIs to end the year... Was 1-for-1 on stolen bases... Recorded 20 putouts and 38 fielding assists with a .892 fielding percentage... Put up his first collegiate home run at Winona State (Mar. 21)... Hit three home runs in one game against Minnesota State (Apr. 11), including a three run shot, two run shot and a solo home run... Had two perfect games at the plate going 4-for-4 against Minnesota State (Apr. 11) and 3-for-3 at Minnesota Duluth (Apr. 18)... Named to All-NSIC Academic Team.

2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 16 games with 11 starts... Batted .256 with 10 hits, two doubles, 14 putouts, and 33 assists.

High School: Earned Morrison County Record All-Area honors as a junior for Little Falls High School… Named All-Granite Ridge Conference in baseball after he posted a .511 batting average for a Flyers team that went 20-2 in 2012, a team that ranked No. 1 in the state for most of the year…  Was also All-Conference in football and basketball... Totaled 45 hits, which included six doubles, four triples and two home runs… Added 31 RBIs and 24 runs scored… A three-sport athlete, Eckman earned nine varsity letters in baseball (three), football (three) and basketball (three)… A captain for all three sports, he earned all-conference in football and basketball as a senior… Member of the B Honor Roll all four years of high school.
