BSU mourns passing of professor and football coach Ken Traxler

The Bemidji State University family mourns the passing of professor, assistant football coach, friend and mentor Dr. Ken Traxler, who passed away on Wednesday.

Junker, Ruoss named to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Bemidji State University football defensive duo of defensive back Michael Junker and linebacker Lukas Ruoss were named as two of 1,432 student-athletes from 364 schools as part of the 2020 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. Junker and Ruoss join student-athletes from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers, as released by the NFF & College Hall of Fame.

Football to host War on the Shore and golf tournament during July 2020

The Bemidji State University football program has announced it will host its annual War on the Shore fishing tournament on Saturday, July 18th along with its golf tournament on Friday, July 31st in Bemidji, Minn.

The Bemidji State University football program will announce the 2020 National Signing Day class with a press conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 5. Beavers head coach Brent Bolte will speak at the live press conference in room 230 of the Physical Education Complex on the BSU Campus.
