BEMIDJI, Minn. -- The Bemidji State University football program has announced it will host its annual War on the Shore fishing tournament on Saturday, July 18th along with its golf tournament on Friday, July 31st in Bemidji, Minn.
The War on the Shore will begin with the fishing tournament at Diamond Point Park across from Chet Anderson Stadium followed by a dinner and auction after the conclusion of the tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams with $1,000 going to first place, $500 to second place and $250 to third place. The cost for participation is $250 per boat with a limit of three people per boat.

Football’s golf tournament is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on July 31st, with the location set for Castle Highlands Golf Course. Each team will include four people with a scramble format on 18 holes. A cart and dinner are included in the $100 registration. Prizes will also be given out following dinner.
