2009 (Jr): In nine games as a reserve defensive back and special teams weapon, Roland totaled 14 tackles, ten of which were solo stops, a tackle for loss, a pass break up and a blocked kick--the sixth of his career.
    Matched a career-high fourth tackles and posting a quartet of solo stops versus MSU Moorhead (9/19/09)... Posted a solo tackle and a pass break up at Northern State (9/26/09)... Registered two tackles with a tackle for loss at Minnesota, Crookston (10/17/09)... Netted three tackles, including a pair of solo stops in the 2009 season finale at Concordia-St. Paul (11/7/09).

Was named NSIC Special Teams Player of the Week  for the same game after setting a new school mark with two blocked field goal attempts... 2006 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.

Prior to BSU: Helped lead Wahpeton to a 5-5 record... Returned two interceptions for touchdown as a senior; also holds school record with 94-yard kickoff return for touchdown... North Dakota Shrine Bowl participant... All-Conference track performer who qualified for state championships in 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes, the 4x200-meter relay and the long jump.
