HOMETOWN Orland Park, Ill (Amos Alonzo Stagg)

2011 (Jr): Played in 10 games and started at outside linebacker against MSU Moorhead (Oct. 15)... Tallied 17 tackles (seven solo)... Recorded 1.5 tackles for loss (-4 yards)... Totaled four of his 17 tackles on special teams.
    Posted a season-high five tackles (two solo), including a half tackle for loss (-1 yard) in his one start versus the Dragons... Made two tackles (one solo) at Northern State (Oct. 29), including a half tackle for loss (-1 yard)... Totaled two solo tackles (tied career-high) at No. 16 Augustana (Sept. 10).

2010 (So): Played in 10 games with two starts at the outside linebacker position... Finished with 26 tackles (seven solo)... Totalled two tackles for loss, knocking back the opposing offense 15 yards... His one and a half sacks totalled 14 lost yardage... Added one interception with a 10 yard return and a pass break-up.
    Posted a career-high seven tackles (two solo), including a half tackle for loss versus Upper Iowa (Oct. 2)... Picked-off his first pass in the green and white at MSU Moorhead (Oct. 16), adding four tackles (two solo), a sack and one pass break-up.

2009 (Fr): Saw time in nine games at the linebacker position… Tallied seven tackles (four solo), adding one sack that resulted in a 14 yard loss… Posted a career-high three tackles (two solo) against Northern State (9/26), where he picked-up his one sack.

2008 (RS): Sat out entire 2008 season as a redshirt.

Prior to BSU: A two-sport athlete at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, Christensen a four-year letter winner in both football and track and field... As a senior linebacker, he paced the team in tackles and interceptions for touchdowns while finished the season second on the team in kick-return yards, forced fumbles and tackles for loss en route to an all-conference selection... Christensen is also a decorated track prep... He earned all-conference honors four times while was selected all-section in his last three seasons as a 110-meter and 300-meter hurdler and on the 4x100-meter relay team... In the classroom, he is a member of the Amos Alonzo Honor Roll, is a Scholar Athlete and is a four-time academic letter winner.
