A familiar face to the BSU football program, Adrian Dunn joined the coaching staff for the 2009 season after anchoring the defensive line from 2006-2007.  As a graduate assistant coach, Dunn works primarily with the Beavers’ defensive line.
In his first season on the coaching side, Dunn guided two First-Team All-NSIC players in Jordan Lardinois and Bryan Wick. With 12.5 tackles for a loss, Lardinois ranked second on the team and tied for third in the NSIC. After the strong senior season, Wick continued his playing career to the professional ranks with the Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League (IFL).
Before joining the staff, Dunn taught at the Bemidji Middle School and coached the varsity and junior varsity boy’s basketball teams.
An outstanding student-athlete, Dunn transferred to Bemidji State after a junior college career at Mendocino Junior College where he was a two-time All-Bay Valley selection and earned All-State Northern Region California accolades.  On the Beavers’ defensive line, Dunn piled up 42 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 3.0 quarterback sacks in two years, while helping BSU to its first NSIC title in 40 years and Mineral Water Bowl appearance in 2006.
Dunn graduated from Bemidji State University in 2009 with a degree in physical education health and sport.
A native of Healdsburg, Calif., Dunn graduated from Healdsburg High School in 2004, where he was a standout  in both football and basketball.
