Prior to BSU: A two-sport student-athlete at Red River High School, King is a three-time football letterwinner and has earned two letters in baseball... He quarterbacked RRHS to a Cushman Classic victory, a 6-4 overall record and playoff berth in 2009... Piled up 2,543 yards and 30 touchdowns through the air as a senior, which included eight rushing touchdowns... Completed 53-percent of his passes last fall... Was named All-Eastern Dakota Conference.
