Prior to BSU: Was a member of a Otters' football team that 10-1 in 2008 and earned a berth in the Minnesota State High School Tournament... Opening the season with 10 consecutive wins, FFHS was ranked as high as No. 2 in the state 4A poll... A three sports athlete as a prep, Carlson won four varsity letters on the track, three on the gridiron, and two as a wrestler... Has been a consistent member of the Fergus Falls Honor Roll.
