Recorded three or more tackles six times… Posted a five-tackle performance at Northern State (Oct. 19) to tie a career-high, while the three solo efforts against the Wolves also tied a career-best… Compiled four tackles three times, which included a four-tackle effort, one tackle for loss, at MSU Moorhead (Nov. 9)… Recovered a fumble versus St. Cloud State (Nov. 2) and broke up a pass at Minnesota Crookston (Oct. 5).
2012 (So): Played in 10 and started three games... Compiled 23 tackles (11 solo)... Recorded 4.0 tackles for loss that pushed the opposing offense back 14 yards... Posted a sack (-8 yards) and added two fumble recoveries.
Totaled a career-high five tackles on two occasions... Posted five tackles (two solo) with 2.5 tackles for loss (-11 yards), which included a sack (-8 yards), against U-Mary (Oct. 6)... Recorded five tackles (one solo) with a tackle for loss (-1 yard) versus MSU Moorhead (Nov. 3)... Tallied four tackles (one solo) against Northern State (Oct. 13)... Prior to BSU: A captain for New Prague High School as a senior, Reinke was elected as the team’s most valuable defensive player in 2009... Led the Trojans to an 8-2 overall record last fall... Garnered All-Missota Conference honors... Was named all-state by the Minnesota Associated Press... Earned a spot on the Start Tribune All-Metro Team... Also on the Trojans’ wrestling team.
Personal: The son of Jeff and Lynda Reinke… Born November 21, 1991… Reinke will be majoring in biology with a chemistry minor... Father, Jeff, was the 275th (10th Round) pick in the NFL Draft in 1986, taken by the Los Angeles Radiers and played with the Cincinnati Bengals in 1987... He was a defensive end and played collegiality at Mankato State (now Minnesota State University, Mankato).
