Rushed a season-high 11 times, totaling a 2010-best 61 yards at Southwest Minnesota State (Sept. 18)... Was handed the ball 10 times against Upper Iowa (Oct. 2) and at Minot State (Aug. 26), recording 55 and 40 yards, respectively... Had a season-long carry of 17 yards against Minnesota, Crookston (Nov. 13), rushing for 58 yards on seven carries.
2009 (Jr-RS): Sat out entire season as a medial redshirt after suffering a knee injury.
2008 (So): Was a regular in the BSU backfield, seeing time in all 11 games, while getting the starting nod on nine occasions... Finished as the team’s leading ground-gainer with 379 yards on 98 carries... Paced the team with five rushing touchdowns... Was BSU’s biggest pass-catching threat out of the backfield pulling in 11 receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown... Also spent time on the Beavers’ special teams unit returning a team-leading 12 kickoffs for 223 yards.
Carried the ball a season-high 16 times at Minot state (8/28/08)... His two touchdown plunges in the season-opener stands as his career-best... Piled up a season-high 93 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries and caught two passes for 34 yards and a score versus Minnesota, Crookston (10/18/08)... Scampered for a career-long, 42-yard carry at Minnesota, Crookston (10/18/08).
2007 (Fr): Saved his best for last playing seven games as a rookie and worked his way in to the starting running back spot for the Beavers last two games of the season... Finished third on the team with 421 rushing yards... Carried the ball 106 times for an average of 4.0 yards per attempt... His 60.1 yards per game was tops among BSU ground-gainers... Ran for a career-high 133 yards on 30 carries in a victory over SW Minnesota State (10/27)... Fell just four yards short of breaking the 100-yard plateau in each of BSU final two games of the season... Recorded his first collegiate touchdown on a plunge from three yards out versus Concordia-St. Paul (11/3)... Grabbed six receptions out of the backfield for an average of 17.0 yards per catch to finish second on the team only to George Kadlec... Logged one catch for a career-high 31 yards at Minnesota, Crookston (9/22).
2006 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.
Prior to BSU: A three-sport athlete at Kenai Central High School, Miles participated in track and field and basketball in addition to his time on the gridiron... Was a member of four consecutive state championship football teams as a prep... Earned first-team all-state honors as a senior running back.
