2014 (Jr): An All-NSIC Second Team selection... Started all 11 games at linebacker for the Beavers and was named team captain... Led the team with 96 total tackles (51 solo, 45 assisted) and was seventh in the conference with 8.7 tackles per game... Was fifth in the conference with 6.5 sacks (-56 yards) which was also a team high... Led the team with 17.5 tackles for a loss (-73 yards)... Also racked up two forced fumbles, one interception and one pass break up... Had a career high 17 total tackles (6 solo, 11 assisted) versus MSU Moorhead (Nov. 8) and a career high 4.5 tackles for a loss at Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 25).
2013 (So): Started the first six games before missing the next four due to injury and returning to play in the final game of the season… Despite the shortened season, compiled 58 tackles (22 solo) to rank fifth on the team… Recorded 7.5 tackles for loss (-17 yards) to sit third on the squad… Posted 1.5 sacks (-6 yards)… Returned an interception 20 yards for a touchdown… Recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown… Added two pass break-ups to total three passes defended that ranked tied for fifth on the team… Scored 12 points to tie for fourth on the team... Named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 9).
Totaled 10 or more tackles on three occasions and eight or more tackles five times… Posted a season-high 13 tackles (six solo) with a half tackle for loss, a 20-yard interception return for a touchdown (first-career interception for a touchdown) and a pass break-up versus Southwest Minnesota State (Sept. 28)… Recorded a career-high 10 assisted tackles and 11 total takedowns with a half tackle for loss (-2 yards) versus Concordia-St. Paul (Sept. 14)… Compiled a career-best nine solo and 10 total tackles at Winona State (Sept. 5) with a fumble recovery in the end zone for first collegiate touchdown and a pass break-up to earn NSIC Defensive Player of the Week recognition... Versus the Warriors, tied career-highs with three tackles for loss (-6 yards) and a sack (-1 yard).
2012 (Fr): Quinn was inserted into the starting outside linebacker position in the third game of the season and never gave the coaches a reason to take him out, as he earned All-NSIC Second Team Defense honors... Totaled 73 tackles (35 solo) to finish third on the team and first among freshmen linebackers in the NSIC... Recovered three fumbles to rank tied for second in the league... Compiled 12.0 tackles for loss (-35 yards), which stacked up second on the Gang Green defense... Posted 1.5 sacks (-11 yards), scored a safety, broke-up one pass, intercepted an errant throw and returned it 29 yards.
Recorded a season-high 14 tackles (eight solo) at nationally-ranked Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 20), two of which were for loss (-5 yards), and recovered two fumbles... Tallied double-digit tackles against MSU Moorhead (Nov. 3) with 12 total, four solo and three tackles for loss (-7 yards)... At St. Cloud State (Oct. 27), he made seven tackles and recorded his first-collegiate interception and returned it 29 yards... Also added a fumble recovery on special teams versus SCSU, as both his turnovers led to offensive touchdowns in the win... Posted four solo tackles, a pass break-up and a safety at Sioux Falls (Sept. 22)... In his first-career start against Wayne State (Sept. 15), he totaled seven tackles (five solo) and 1.5 tackles for loss (-8 yards).
2011 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.
Prior to BSU: Quinn excelled as a running back and linebacker at Geneva High School and guided the team to a conference championship his senior season... His senior accomplishments include all-state, Upstate Eight Conference Most Valuable Player, Chicago Tribune Player of the Month and player of the year honors from Republican Newspaper, Kane Co. Chronicle and Daily Hearld... He totalled 1,254 rushing yards on 210 carries with 16 touchdowns on offense to lead the conference and finish fifth in Division 6A in rushing yards... Tallied six 100-plus rushing games and one 100-plus receiving game... Added 17 receptions for 367 yards and three scores... His 68 (45 assisted, 23 solo) tackles on defense led the Vikings and ranked third in the conference... Got to the quarterback twice on the season.
