2015 (Sr): Named to the 2015 Academic All-NSIC Team... Guy Vena Most Inspirational Player... Played in five games totaling 18 rushes for 114 yards and one touchdown… Recorded a season-high 14 carries at Minot State (Oct. 31) as well as a career-high 106 rushing yards...Earned recognition for academic achievement on the 2016 NFF Hampshire Honor Society Membership.
2014 (Jr): Started eight out of nine games at runningback... Was fourth on the team with 256 rushing yards on 79 carries... Averaged 3.2 yards per rushing attempt... Scored his first career rushing touchdown versus Northern State (Nov. 15)... Pulled in 26 receiving yards on seven receptions... Had a career day at Upper Iowa (Sept. 20) with 72 yards rushing on 13 carries (5.5 ypc) along with a career-long 34 yard rush.... Was named to the 2014 All-NSIC Fall Academic Team.
2013 (So): Played in 10 games as a reserve in the offensive backfield, while also serving time on special teams… Carried the ball twice for four yards at Augustana (Sept. 21)… Caught one pass for negative three yards at Winona State (Sept. 5)… Totaled four tackles (two solo), with one tackle in four different games... Honored as a member of the 2013 Fall Academic All-NSIC Team.
2012 (Fr): Saw the field in six games, mostly on special teams... Recorded two rushing attempts for two yards... Totaled one tackle on punt team coverage... Made collegiate debut in the season opener against Upper Iowa (Aug. 31).
2011 (RS): Sat out entire season as a redshirt.
Prior to BSU: Guided the Frederic High School Vikings to a 9-2 overall and 7-1 Lakeland - Small Conference record his senior season, earning first team all-conference honors... Posted 192 carries, 1,551 yards (8.1 yards per carry, 141 yards per game), with 19 touchdowns and ranked 32nd in the state (all divisions) in rushing yards... Also added seven receptions for 60 yards and one touchdown... Rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns in a 39-0 victory in the first round of the 2010 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) playoffs... Led the state of Wisconsin in rushing Oct. 1 after finishing with 330 yards on 32 carries with three touchdowns in a 56-20 homecoming victory... Is a 10-time letterwinner, football (four), track (four) and basketball (two)... A National Honor Society Academic Letter winner, Peterson was on the honor roll every quarter.
