2014 (Sr): An All-NSIC Honorable Mention selection... Played and started all 11 games of the season at cornerback... Was sixth on the team with 55 total tackles (35 solo, 20 assisted) along with three tackles for loss (-6 yards)... Finishd the season with seven passes broken up... Racked up nine tackles (5 solo, 4 assisted) with one fumble recovery and one interception versus Sioux Falls (Sept. 13).

2013 (Jr): Played in 11 and started eight games at safety, while battling injuries during the final three games of the season… Compiled a career-high 41 tackles (22 solo) to rank ninth on the team… Broke-up four passes to rank fourth on the squad… Added an interception (returned five yards) for a total of five passes defended, to tie for fourth on the team… Broke into the opposing backfield for a career-best 3.5 tackles for loss (-7 yards)… Added a fumble recovery.
    Racked-up a career-high 10 tackles (one solo) and added a pass break-up versus Concordia-St. Paul (Sept. 14)… Totaled nine tackles, all solo, to establish a career-best, at Winona State (Sept. 5)… Posted four or more tackles on six occasions… Recorded four tackles (three solo), which included a career-high two tackles for loss (-5 yards) at Northern State (Oct. 19)… Recovered first-collegiate fumble and added an interception (five yard return) at Minot State (Nov. 16)… Totaled two tackles (one solo) and tied a career-high with two pass break-ups versus Southwest Minnesota State (Sept. 28).

2012 (So): Started all 11 games at safety... Compiled 39 tackles to rank seventh on the Beavers... Totaled 28 solo tackles to sit fifth on the team... Recorded three interceptions to tie for second on the team and returned them 38 yards (12.7 yards per return) to sit second on the squad... Added a team-high seven pass break-ups... Tallied 2.5 tackles for loss (-11 yards), which included a sack (-8 yards).
    Totaled four or more tackles on six occasions... Tallied a career-high seven tackles (career-best five solo) with two pass break-ups (tied career-high) against MSU Moorhead (Nov. 3)... Posted five tackles (three solo) and his first-career sack (-8 yards) at Minnesota State (Sept. 8)... Recorded five tackles (four solo) and a tackle for loss (-3 yards) against Wayne State (Sept. 15)... Brought in first-career interception in the season opener versus Upper Iowa (Aug. 31)... Totaled four tackles (three solo), a pass break-up and an interception that was returned 15 yards at U-Mary (Oct. 6)... Compiled three solo tackles, a pass break-up and picked off a pass, which he returned 23 yards at St. Cloud State (Oct. 27)... Broke up two passes and totaled four tackles (one solo) against Northern State (Oct. 13).

2011 (Fr): Played in al 11 games as a true freshman as a reserve defensive back and on special teams... Totaled 19 tackles (11 solo)... Recorded two tackles for loss (-3 yards) and two pass break-ups... Finished fifth on the team in special teams tackles with five (four on kickoff coverage, one on punt coverage).
    Made his collegiate debut against Minot State (Aug. 25) and recorded three tackles (two solo)... Posted a season-high four tackles (two solo), including a tackle for loss (-2 yards) at U-Mary (Oct. 22)... Tallied a pass break-up at Northern State and against No. 6 St. Cloud State... Recorded a tackle in all but one contest and at least two tackles in six games.

Prior to BSU: A three-year letter winner in football, Valentine recorded 45 tackles (40 solo, five assists), seven pass break-ups and led Chaparral High School in interception yardage his senior year... A captain in his final year as a Puma, was named first team all-conference, all-region and was an honorable mention on California’s Inland Elite Team... Helped the team win the Southern Section California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Championship game his junior season with three touchdown pass break-ups and was a major part of the 2010 championship season... Finished his football career with more than 90 tackles and broke the school record with a 98-yard kick return... Also competed on the tack squad, competing in the 100, 200 and 4x100-meter races.
