Andrew Beach is in his second season as a graduate assistant at Bemidji State, serving primarily as the running backs coach.

In 2012 he helped guide Dustin Kroeplin to All-NSIC Honorable Mention status. The Beavers totaled 170.8 yards per game on the ground to rank seventh in the NSIC.  

Prior to BSU, Beach coached overseas as the offensive line coach for the professional football team, Calanda Broncos in Chur, Switzerland in the spring and summer of 2012. The squad won the Swiss Championship and the EuroBowl, which crowns the best team in Europe.

Previous to working overseas, Beach was an assistant coach for Army Football’s Sprint Program for two seasons (2010-11). He served as offensive line coach, assisted with special teams and was the run game coordinator. Beach also had film cutting and recruiting responsibilities.

Before his stint at Army he was an assistant coach for three seasons (2007-09) at Oshkosh West High School. All three seasons he served as running back, slot receiver and defensive line coach, while assuming assistant offensive coordinator duties for the 2009 season. He also broke down film for opponents and had weight room responsibilities.

Beach is a 2010 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a bachelors degree in broad field social science. At Bemidji State, he is pursing a masters degree in education.

He played football for two seasons at University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse before his career was cut short due to injury.

A native of Monroe, Wis. he was a letterwinner in football at Monroe High School.
