2015 (Fr): Played in two games versus University of Mary and at Minnesota Crookston… Versus University of Mary the Beaver offense converted four of 12 third downs, rushed 37 times for a total 261 yards, produced 478 yards total and had a total possession time of 23:58… At Minnesota Crookston the Beavers were five for 12 on third down conversions, had 42 rushing attempts for 285 yards and were 10 for 21 in the air for 109 yards, the offense totaled 394 yards and had a final possession time of 25:10.
2014 (RS): Sat out season as a redshirt.
Prior to BSU: A three-year starter on the offensive line at Delano High School, Russek was named team captain and the team’s most valuable lineman in 2013… A two-time All-Wright County Conference selection… Named National Underclassmen Combine MVP… A Gopherhole.com top 15 lineman pick for Minnesota… Twice the Tigers finished runner-up in the conference and were a Class 4A semi-finalist during his career… The Tigers went 25-8 with Russek on the line, while the squad allowed zero sacks… Totaled eight varsity letters in football (3), track (3) and wrestling (2)… An honor roll student.
