Prior to BSU: Al-Khouri was an AzFCA All-State, Arizona Republic All-State Division 3 and Scout 24/7football.com All-State Division 3 defensive back his senior season at Cactus High School... Guided the Cobras to an 11-2 overall mark, 6-0 league record and an appearance in the state finals (31-26 loss to Saguaro High School)... Totaled 109 tackles (57 solo) and five interceptions he returned for a total of 94 yards... The all-section and Peoria Unified School District First Team defensive back defended four passes and caused one fumble... Al-Khouri was also a threat on punt returns, as he earned all-state second team returner and Friday Night Fever All-Arizona Return Specialist honors... Returned 35 punts for 546 yards to average 15.6 yards per return and a long of 75 yards... Scored five touchdowns on punt returns and added a safety to total 32 points on the season... In a 53-34 victory against Liberty High School, he totaled 14 tackles (10 solo), two interceptions (93 yards) and returned three punts for 93 yards, including a 60 yard return for a touchdown.
