Beaver Basketball announces summer competition camp

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- A competition camp for boys in grades 4-8 has been added to the Bemidji State University men’s basketball summer camp schedule. The camp is scheduled for five dates including June 22 and 29, July 13 and 20, and August 3 at BSU Gymnasium.

The BSU coaches and players will teach and use different concepts to help players learn through playing the game in a fun atmosphere. The camps will focus on players learning basketball in various competition settings using shooting and dribbling challenges. Players will be taught using the games approach playing 1-on-1, 2-on-2 and 3-on-3.

The camp runs from 1-2:30 p.m. each day and all participants will receive a BSU Basketball shirt. The cost is $60 for all five sessions or $50 if also enrolled in Beaver Buddies.
