The unique conference tournament is comprised of five 18-hole rounds spread over six months. The first two rounds were set at Troy Burne Golf Course in Hudson, Wis. Oct. 2-3, 2010, while the final three rounds, including today, are scheduled for the par-71, 6,539-yard Jewel Golf Club.

Adam Fields from Wayne State College (Neb.) sits atop the leader board as the only player under par after three rounds (69-74-69--212 (+-1).  The Wildcats’ top golfer fired a two-under-par 69 today to build his lead over Minnesota State’s Kyle Bahe (74-71-72--217 (+4) and the rest of the field to five shots.

Bemidji State and the rest of the NSIC Championship field will be back at The Jewel Golf Course tomorrow to compete in fourth round of the event.
