ASHLAND, Neb. (Quarry Oaks GC) -- Bemidji State senior Andrew Benson fired a two-under-par 70 in the final round of the NSIC Championships Sunday to finish three strokes off the pace in third place (+11/74-70-81-70--295), earn a spot on the All-Tournament team and led the Beavers to a seventh-place finish in the team competition.
For the fifth time in seven years, Minnesota State University, Mankato (+60) won the conference title, shaving a four-stroke deficit on the final day of competition to earn a two-stroke edge over University of Sioux Falls (+62) and the rest of the field.
