2017-18 (Junior)
Participated at six events and 12 rounds for the Beavers in 2017-18... Finished 10th on the team with a scoring average of 81.3... Shot a personal low of the season of 155 (79-76) at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite, March 29-30 where he tied for 24th... Shot a two-round score of 158 (79-79) at the SCSU Huskie Invite, Oct. 1-2, to tie for 33rd.

2016-17 (Sophomore): Competed in 5 events and 11 rounds averaging 81.8 strokes per round on the season... Shot a season-low round of 76 in the second round of the NSIC Spring Preview March 25-26 coming in t-56th... Named the NSIC's Elite 18 Award recipient... Named to the 2017 Spring Academic All-NSIC Team.

2015-16 (Freshman): Took part in eight rounds of four events to finish the season with an average round score of 81.4… Shot a season-low 75 in the second round of the J.R. Watkins Invitational Sept. 6… Recorded a 17th place finish at the BSU Invitational to help the Beavers to an overall team win.

Greenway High School: Skaar competes in basketball and golf for Greenway High School. A member for the Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin boy’s golf team for the past five seasons, Skaar looks to lead the Titans to a Section 7A title in 2015. A regular on the junior circuit in Northern Minnesota, Skaar has found his name atop the leaderboard in several tournaments. Skaar is also a four-time letterwinner for the Raiders’ basketball team, where he was a two-time All-Iron Range selection. He brings a deep history to BSU and golf at the Bemidji Town and Country Club as BSU’s athletics fundraising golf tournament. The Gordy Skaar Memorial, is the namesake of his grandfather and founder of the event, which is now in its fourth decade. His other grandfather “Buster” Spaulding is in the BSU Athletics Hall of Fame after a stellar collegiate career in basketball, football and track and field from 1940-46 and his father Gordy Skaar, Jr. attended BSU and participated in golf.

Personal: Son of Gordy and Jennifer Skaar... Born May 30, 1996... Majoring in sport management while at BSU... Brother, Evan, competes for the men's golf team at Texas Lutheran.
