BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University men’s hockey program will host a special alumni weekend Oct. 23-24. Highlighted by the Beavers’ 2015-16 Western Collegiate Hockey Association-opening series versus long-time intrastate rival Minnesota State University, Mankato, BSU will host a postgame social Saturday and celebrate its 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1997 national championship teams over the course of the weekend’s events.
“It’s always nice to have our alumni back on campus, but this will be a special weekend,” said Head Coach Tom Serratore. “We play a team, in Minnesota State, Mankato, that will resonate with many of our alumni and we will have an opportunity to honor some outstanding teams. We won four national titles during the 1990s making these teams and players a major part of the tradition, culture and history this program.”
Make plans to be a part of this special alumni weekend Oct. 23-24. Visit bsualumni.org or call 877-BSU-ALUMNI for more information.
