Bemidji State looks ahead to No. 1 North Dakota

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University Head Men's Hockey Coach Tom Serratore met with the media today to preview the Beavers' upcoming home-and-home series versus No. 1 North Dakota.

On the heels of a thrilling 3-2 victory over then-No. 2/3 University of Minnesota Duluth to open the season, the Beavers are back at it this week preparing for another formidable opponent in the nation's top-ranked team.  BSU will host North Dakota at Sanford Center for the first half of home-and-home series at 7:37 p.m. Friday before making a return trip to Grand Forks, N.D. and Ralph Engelstad Arena for a 7:07 p.m. start Saturday to wrap up the nonconference series.

In recent years, the BSU-UND rivalry has really begun to heat up. In the last nine meetings, North Dakota holds a 5-2-2 advantage, while BSU earned its last win, 5-2, to open the 2014-15 season at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Tickets are still available for the series and begin and just $18. Stop by the Sanford Center Bob Lowth Ford Pickup Window, visit any Ticketmaster outlet or to get yours today.
