BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University Head Men's Hockey Coach Tom Serratore and leading scorer Gerry Fitzgerald look ahead to the Beavers' impending Western Collegiate Hockey Association series versus Ferris State University.
Bemidji State hosts Ferris State at 7:37 p.m. Friday and 7:07 p.m. Saturday in the third and fourth meetings between the teams this season. The Beavers traveled to Big Rapids, Mich. December 4-5 and split the league set earning a 2-0 victory in the series opener before dropping the finale 2-1.
The Beavers and Bulldogs series spans 16 seasons and 21 games, with 12 games played since the beginning of the 2013-14 campaign. The Bulldogs own a 13-7-1 edge in the rivalry and are responsible for knocking the Beavers out of the WCHA postseason to conclude each of the last two seasons, which includes a 2-0 series victory at Sanford Center March 13-14, 2015.
