BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University Head Coach Tom Serratore and junior forward Brendan Harms preview the Beavers' upcoming WCHA series with No. 14 Michigan Tech.
The Beavers, 13-12-5 overall and 8-10-4 in the WCHA, host the Huskies (16-7-5; 13-6-3 WCHA) for the first meeting of the season between the teams and for the first time since Feb. 6-7 of last year.
The Huskies own a 9-5-4 advantage in the series that got its start in 2007 and have rattled off wins in seven of the last 10 meetings between the teams (7-0-3), but the Beavers are 4-4-0 when hosting the Huskies and aim for their first victory over MTU since Oct. 22, 2011.
The series will get underway at 7:37 p.m. Friday with a 7:07 p.m. opening faceoff set for 7:07 p.m. Saturday.
