BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State head men's hockey coach Tom Serratore and senior forward and reigning Wester Collegiate Hockey Association Offensive Player of the Week Brendan Harms spoke with the media Tuesday to preview the team's upcoming non-conference series versus Princeton as well as the pairewise rankings and the national polls.
The Beavers rekindle their series with Princeton after taking an 18-year hiatus. The Beavers and Tigers first met Dec. 10 and 11 of the 1999-2000 season. The Beavers earned a pair of one-goal victories (3-2 and 2-1) at the John S. Glas Fieldhouse that season to open the rivalry and the teams have not met since. However, the Beavers are 5-6-5 versus teams hailing from ECAC Hockey--conference home of Princeton.
BSU and Princeton get the series underway at 7:07 p.m. Friday with the series finale set for a 7:07 p.m. opening face off from Sanford Center.
