Bemidji State announces Thanksgiving weekend hockey ticket deals for the whole family

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University department of athletics has announced three ticket deals to save, support the community and watch the nationally-ranked Beaver Hockey team this Thanksgiving weekend when BSU hosts Princeton University.

All weekend, the Beavers are offering a $5 ticket deal for youth, grade 12 and under. No extra taxes. No extra fees. A five-dollar bill is as good as a ticket to see one of the hottest teams in all of college hockey.

For fans that have Black Friday shopping plans, BSU also has a ticket deal tailored for you. Show a receipt from any local retailer dated Nov. 25 at the Sanford Center box office and unlock nearly $10 in savings by purchasing an adult ticket for just $12.

Saturday, Bemidji State is giving fans an opportunity to help the Beavers and Marketplace Food replenish the Bemidji Area Food Shelf this holiday season. Bring a nonperishable food donation (suggested $5 value) to “Stuff-a-Truck” outside the Sanford Center main entrance and receive a voucher to purchase a $12 ticket or enter you name into a drawing for hundreds of dollars in gift cards from Marketplace Foods.

Ranked No. 10 in the country, the Beavers have climbed to a place in the national polls they have not seen since March 22, 2010. At 11-2-1 overall and in first place in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association with a 11-0-1-1 record in league play, the Beavers are off to their best start in more than 30 years. This weekend they look to extend their record to a perfect 8-0-0 on their home ice.

The nonconference series will begin with a 7:07 p.m. opening face off Friday and will conclude with a 7:07 p.m. start Saturday. Both games will be played at Sanford Center.

Offers are available only at the Sanford Center Bob Lowth Ford Pickup Window on the day of the game.

All fees and taxes are included in the discounted ticket price.
