Serratore previews Ferris State series

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State Head Men's Hockey Coach Tom Serratore talked to the media Tuesday to preview the Beavers upcoming Western College Hockey Association series versus Ferris State University at Sanford Center.

The Beavers and Bulldog meet for the first time this season, marking the revival of a rivalry that got its start in 1999.  FSU skates into Bemidji, Minn. with a 14-7-2 advantage in the series including a 3-2 overtime victory and a 1-1 tie at Sanford Center Jan. 22-23 of last season.

The teams open the series at 7:07 p.m. Friday and again a 7:07 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets for the series are still available at by calling Sanford Center Box Office at 441-4031 or visiting the Bob Lowth Ford Pickup Window on the day of the game. Youth tickets for the series begin at just $7, while BSU and Sanford Center are offering a new ticketing option for the remainder of the season. Buy a $55 club level ticket and get access to premium all-you-can-eat food during the entire game.  This week's menu includes a variety of barbque meat cuts and all the fixings.
