Beavers preview WCHA Playoff opponent Northern Michigan

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State head coach Tom Serratore and juniors Michael Bitzer and Jordan Heller spoke to the media Tuesday to preview the Beavers' upcoming WCHA Playoff series versus Northern Michigan.

The 2016-17 WCHA Regular-Season Champions and No. 1 seeded Beavers will host the No. 8 seed NMU March 3, 4 and 5 in a best-of-three playoff series. Game times are set for 7:07 p.m. Friday and Saturday with a 5:07 p.m. opening face-off Sunday, if needed.

BSU is 9-4-3 all-time versus NMU, which includes a 2-1, 5-2 sweep of the Wildcats in Bemidji, Minn. Nov. 18-19 of this season. In all, the Beavers have won the last four match-ups with NMU and are unbeaten in nine of the last 10 meetings (7-1-2).

Tickets for the series are on sale now. Youth tickets are set at $9 with adult tickets beginning at $20. Taxes and fees are included in the ticket price.

Tickets can be purchased a the Sanford Center Bob Lowth Ford Pickup Window form 3:30-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday and starting at 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
