Serratore and Whitecloud preview Alaska series

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University Head Men's Hockey Coach Tom Serratore and sophomore defender Zach Whitecloud talk about the Beavers' upcoming Western Collegite Hockey Associiton series at the University of Alaska and Whitecloud playing for Hockey Canada in the Karjala Cup in Switzerland and Finland Nov. 8-12.

The Beavers, now 3-1-2 overall and 1-0-1-1 in WCHA play, travel to Fairbanks for a WCHA match up with the University of Alaska, Nov. 3-4.  Each game is set for a 10:07 p.m. (CST) opening face off at the Carlson Center.

BSU is 10-3-2 versus the Nanooks, in a series that got its start in 1986, and is 4-1-1 in games played in Fairbanks. The Beavers open the two game set unbeaten in their last five games versus Alaska (4-0-1).

Following the series Whitecloud with join Hockey Canada for the Karjala Cup. The Karjala Cup includes national teams from Canada, Czech Republic, Sweden, Russia, Switzerland and Finland. Canada begins its pre-Olympic play Nov. 8 versus Switzerland.
