BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University head men's hockey coach and freshman forward Aaron Miller preview the Beavers' upcoming WCHA series versus Lake Superior State.
Bemidji State, winner of nine of its last 10 league contests, returns to Sanford Center this weekend to host Lake Superior State University in a WCHA two-game series.
The Beavers traveled to Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. just one month ago and took six points from the Lakers, shutting LSSU out 3-0 in the opener and earned a 6-3 victory in the finale at Taffy Abel Arena. The sweep allowed the Beavers to remain unbeaten in their last four games versus LSSU (3-0-1).
Opening face off is set for 7:07 p.m. each night. Tickets for the series are still available and begin at just $12.
Saturday night is BSU's annual Native Nations Night. Beaver hockey fans with a valid tribal IDs can purchase youth tickets for $5 and adult tickets for $12 to participate in the evening of festivities.
