BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State head coach Tom Serratore and sophomore defender Zach Whitecloud preview the Beavers' upcoming Western Collegiate Hockey Association series opener versus Ferris State.
The Beavers officially begin the defense of their 2016-17 WCHA regular-season title and the coveted MacNaughton Cup this weekend when they host one of their most familiar opponents in Ferris State. Since 1999, BSU and FSU have met 25 times, with 16 coming since 2010 when the teams became league opponents. The Bulldogs hold a 15-8-2 advantage in the series, which includes an 8-3-1 mark in games played on BSU homes ice.
The Beavers have partnered with the Edit Sanford Breast Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness weekend. Join us each night as we celebrate those who have won the fight and support those who are fighting, along with their loved ones. Each game is slated to begin at 7:07 p.m.
Tickets are still available for both games of the series and begin at just $12 for general admission. Fans can also purchase a reserved ticket for $12 (plus taxes and fees) in select sections of the arena Friday night.
