MTU opens the weekend with a 15-12-5 edge in the rivalry, but BSU is 9-7-0 when hosting the series in Bemidji and enters the series having won the last two games between the teams.

The Beavers look to continue their success at home this season as they host the Huskies this weekend. BSU is 7-1-2 at Sanford Center and has averaged 4.50 goals per game, while allowing 2.00.

The Beavers and Huskies get the two-game set underway from Sanford Center at 7:07 p.m. Friday evening and will wrap the series up Saturday in a game scheduled for a 6:07 p.m. opening face-off.

Tickets for each game of the series are still available and begin and just $12, with a newly added youth ticket price set at $8 for kids ages 3-13 available only at the Sanford Center Box Office.

Nestled in Northern Minnesota’s wooden region and located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, BSU sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
