The Beavers, ranked 15th in the USCHO.com national poll, open the season by hosting the No. 5 Mavericks. Sunday's game is set for a 5:07 p.m. opening faceoff, while the series finale is scheduled for a 3:07 p.m. puck drop Monday.
The goal of the WCHA and BSU is to provide a safe environment for the student-athletes, coaches, fans, and staff. With that in mind, no fans will be allowed at BSU women’s or men’s hockey games hosted at Sanford Center until further notice.
While no fans will be allowed inside Sanford Center, there are still options for fans to follow the Beavers live. All games will again be streamed on FloHockey through the WCHA.tv platform on a pay-to-view subscription basis. As always, all games will also be carried by RP Broadcasting and the Beaver Radio Network both online and on the FM radio dial.
Nestled in Northern Minnesota’s wooden region and located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, BSU sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey membership in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
