Participated in all 38 games as a junior... Led the team in scoring for the second consecutive season logging his third consecutive 30-point season... Was 21st in the WCHA in scoring with 25 points in league play (16g-9a)... Was a regular on the Beavers’ power-play unit and finished sixth on the team with eight points on the man advantage (4g-4a), while he tied for second with four power-play goals... Matched a career-high six shots on goal at Miami (10/8/11)... Recorded seven multi-point efforts, which included a trio of three-point efforts...Three times recorded multi-goal games... Posted four points (3g-1a) in helping BSU to a three-point weekend at St. Cloud State (12/2-3/11)... 2010-11 / Sophomore
Appeared in all 38 games, which included 24 starts as a sophomore... Led the team and ranked 12th in the league in scoring with a career-high 36 points (17g-19a)... Led the team in assists with 19... Trailed only Matt Read on the team in goals with 17... Was second on the team in power-play goals with six... Had eight multi-point games... Opened the season on a scoring streak with three goals in BSU’s first three games... Notched first multi-point game with 3 points (1g-2a) versus St. Cloud State on (11/5/10)... Followed up the series opener with three assists on the following night against the Huskies... Selected as WCHA Co-Offensive Player of the Week (11/9/10) after totaling six points in a series split with St. Cloud State... Tallied three points including multi-point game 2 points (1g-1a) (12/4/10) versus Nebraska-Omaha... Logged two goals and an assist at Mariucci Classic versus Ferris State and Union including the game-winning goal against Union (1/1/11)... Tallied multi-point game with two assists (1/15/11) at Nebraska-Omaha... Netted three goals during Minnesota State series including the game-winner... Logged a multi-point game with 2 points (1g-1a) including the game-tying goal against Colorado College (2/18/11)... 2009-10 / Freshman
Played in 36 of Bemidji State’s 37 games in 2009-10... Missed only the Beavers’ series finale at Niagara Dec. 16... Made 14 starts settling into the left wing spot on the Beavers’ top scoring line... Posted 34 points (13g-21a) to finish second on the team, lead all BSU rookies and rank among the nation’s top-scoring newcomers... Recorded an assist in his collegiate debut (10/9/09)... Potted his first goal as a Beaver (10/10/09) in a 7-3 victory over Air Force... Posted the first of his nine multi-point games on the season with a pair of helpers in the Oct. 31, 2-1 overtime victory at Ala.-Huntsville... Registered a goal and an assist as BSU topped Robert Morris 2-1 (9/6/09)... The multi-point night sparked a six-game scoring streak in which he put up four goals and seven assists... Netted an unassisted goal in the 4-1 loss at Minnesota (11/14/09)... Bounced back the following night with a pair of assists to help the Beavers to a 6-1 victory over the Golden Gophers (11/15/09)... Registered his first three-point night in Bemidji State’s 6-1 triumph over Ala.-Huntsville (11/20/09)... Scored the game-winning goal 36 seconds into overtime at No. 4 Minnesota Duluth (1/23/10)... Prior to BSU
George came to BSU after anchoring the attacking line of the Topeka RoadRunners of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for two seasons... Recorded 27 goals and 40 assists in 58 games in 2008-09 to lead the team in both categories... His 67 points tied for second-most among all NAHL players during the regular season... Of his 27 goals, five were game-winners, four came on the power play and three were short-handed... Opened 2008-09 with a 12-game scoring streak which included eight goals and 15 assists... Posted 21 multi-point contests... George, a native of Madison, Wis., will not only become the first Bemidji State player to be plucked from the state of Wisconsin in the team’s Division I-era, he is one of just three players in the history of the program hailing from Minnesota’s neighbor to the east.
