Appeared in four games as a freshman for BSU in 2010-11... Made his most recent final appearance against Northern Michigan (11/27/10), a game in which he recorded a season-high two shots.

Prior to BSU

Ladd, a three-year veteran forward of the NAHL’s Marquette Rangers, joins the Beavers for the 2009-10 campaign.  While in Marquette, the Fenton, Mich. native skated in 168 games and piled up 49 goals and 91 assists for 140 points. Ladd had his most productive season in 2009-10. Seeing time in 55 of Marquette’s 58 contests, he piled up 23 goals and 40 assists to rank second on his team and fifth in the league in total points (63), which includes 24 power-play points (4-20--24), a team-leading five short-handed markers and four game-winners. His 40 assists place him fourth among his league counterparts.
    Ladd recorded at least a point in 39 of 55 appearances last winter and posted a plus-15 for the season.  He assembled four scoring streaks of at least five games, which includes a 10-game string stretching from Jan. 22-Feb. 19 during which he accounted for four goals and 10 assists.
    The Rangers cruised to a NAHL North Division title with a 35-22-1 overall record, but Ladd and his Marquette teammates were bounced from the first round of the 2010 post season.
    Ladd is the fourth native of Michigan to wear the green and white and the first since Tom Heaviland played for the Beavers from 1975-79.
