Played in 31 games for BSU... Scored three goals to go along with 12 blocked shots... Second on the team with a .136 shot percentage... Posted a career high with two goals in a 4-2 win over Michigan Tech (2-3-17)... 2016-17 WCHA Scholar-Athlete. Soucier ended the season with 22 shots on goal.
2015-16 / Freshman
Skated in three games as a rookie for the Beavers... Appeared in his first collegiate game in a victory vs. Alaska (11/14/15), posting two shots on goal and two penalty minutes for season-high marks... Finished the season with three shots on goal and one blocked shot.
Prior to BSU
Soucier was a three-year junior hockey veteran, recently with the Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL. In 54 games in 2014-15, Soucier (SOO-see-ay) scored 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points. Soucier was the Wing's second-leading scorer and the team's leader of the power play with nine goals, which ranked 11th in the NAHL. Soucier also posted two three-point games. Previously, Soucier spent two years playing for the Wellington Dukes in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL). There he totaled 59 points (20g-39a) in 90 games in two seasons. In 2012-13, he earned OJHL Second Team All-Prospect honors. Soucier also competed for the Canada East U-19 team in 2012-13 and 2013-14 in the World Junior A Challenge.
