Skated in all 39 games during his sophomore season... Posted one goal and five assists for six points... Recorded a career-high six shots on goal vs. Michigan Tech (11/20/16)... Blocked 54 shots and had 61 shots on goal... Notched points in two-straight games Feb. 9-12 with a goal and an assist... WCHA All-Academic Team.
Appeared in 34 games as a freshman... Posted six points (1g-5a)... Recorded his first collegiate point with an assist against North Dakota in the home opener (10/11/14)... Scored first collegiate goal on the power-play at Alaska Anchorage (12/6/14)... Recorded assists in two consecutive games (11/8/14), (11/14/14)... Had 34 blocked shots and 49 shots on goal.
Beauvais spent the 2013-14 season with the Penticton Vees of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). In 57 games, the blueliner posted 13 goals and 45 assists for 58 points. Was the top scoring defender for the Vees, and the second leading scorer on the team. Was named a BCHL First-Team All-Star and led all BCHL defenders in assists and points, winning the BCHL's top defenceman award.
Prior to joining the BCHL ranks, Beauvais spent two seasons with the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). There Beauvais racked up 54 points (11g-43a) in 116 games for the Wings and earned a spot on the 2012-13 NAHL All-North Division Team, and was also a member of the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
Beauvais also competed internationally, as a member of the Canada Atlantic U17 team, as they played in the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in 2010 and 2011.
Brett Christopher Beauvais was born to Chris and Sue Anne Beauvais on Oct. 24, 1994... Brett is majoring in sport management with a minor in mass communications.
