Appeared in 15 games as a freshman and posted one assist... Notched an assist in his first career game in the season opening victory vs. Minnesota Duluth (10/10/15)... Recorded 15 blocked on shots and had 10 shots on goal... Finished the season with a +2 plus/minus rating.
Prior to BSU
Janco was a three-year veteran of the NAHL as a member of the Janesville Jets. Janco (JAN-coh) was been a leader for the high-scoring Jets as an alternate captain, finishing sixth in the NAHL in the plus/minus category with a rating of +33. Janco finished the regular season with two goals and 19 assists for 21 points in 53 games played, his most successful junior hockey season. Janco also recorded a six-game point-streak Jan. 10-30, scoring six points (1g-5a). Janco has been a part of a very successful Janesville Jets squad, which finished the regular season with NAHL single-season records for wins (49) and points (100). The Jets were undefeated with an 18-0 record when Janco recorded a point. In his prior two NAHL seasons, Janco spent time with the Fresno Monsters, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and the Janesville Jets. In three full NAHL seasons, he compiled 53 points (9g-44a) in 162 games. As a former Bloomington Jefferson Jaguar, Janco totaled 39 points (3g-32a) in 61 career games played.
