Was among BSU's top four defensemen in ali 26 of BSU's games as a senior. Recorded three goals and matched a career high with seven assists. His 10 points (3g-7a) was good for third among BSU blueliners and eighth on the team in scoring. Finished tied with Ross Armour for third on the team with two game-winning goals. Scored the game-winning goal in a 4-1 victory over then-No. 2 Minnesota State (!/29/21). Was second on the team with 29 blocks, which included a career-best five blocked shots in a 4-1 victory to complete a WCHA Playoff sweep of Michigan Tech (3/13/21). A member of BSU's power-play unit, Johnson collected a power-play goal. Complete the season with a -5 plus/minus rating and 16 penalty minutes.

Johnson appearned in 35 games as a junior... He finished the season with a career-high 13 points on six goals and seven assists... Logged the first multi-point game of his BSU career netting a pair of goals, including the game-winner, to lead the Beavers to a 4-0 victory at Alaska (11/1/19)... Scored in 7-of-8 games from Jan. 17-Feb. 15 (3g-4a)... Potted the game-winning goal in a 5-1 victory over Northern Michigan (2/15/20)... Had a season-high of three shots for the Beavers at Northern Michigan (2/15/20)... He also had a season-best two bocked shots at Alaska-Anchorage (2/21/20)... Completed the season with a +10 plus/minus rating to tie for fourth on the team.

Johnson saw time in all 38 games for Bemidji State... Recorded three goals and two assists for five points with 29 shots on goal... Posted his first collegiate goal in a 3-2 loss to Minnesota State (11/23/19)... Tallied one power-play goal and one short-handed goal... Blocked 24 shots... Ended the season with a -7 rating.

2017-18 (Fr)

Johnson appeared in 13 games for the Beavers... Recorded an assist for one point as a rookie... Made his collegiate debut Dec. 29... Posted first point in the green and white at Alabama-Huntsville (1/27/18) posting an assist to help BSU to a 5-1 victory... Recorded nine shots on goal... Had four blocked shots.

Prior to BSU
Johnson logged parts of five seasons with the United State Hockey League dating back to 2012-13... Johnson played two seasons with the Fargo Force, and was an anchor to a Fargo defensive unit... He was also a mainstay on the team's penalty-kill unit, which only gave up two goals in 64 opportunities (.969) to lead the USHL... In his first season with the Force (2015-16), Johnson made an appearance in 57 games and collected two goals and 14 assists, with two assists on the main advantage.
