Hawks sets new season mark, honored by NSIC

BEMIDJI , Minn. - Sophomore Jonathon Hawks (Gainsville, Ga.) has been named the Male Track Athlete of the Week in an announcement that came from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference office on Tuesday. Hawks time in the 100-meter dash (10.90) at the Jim Duncan Invite in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday moved is the fastest time in the conference this season.

Hawks also competed as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team that finished third. Hawks ran the first leg of the event.

BEMIDJI STATE RETURNS HOME TO HOST BEAVER RELAYS - After opening the season with three weekends on the road, the Bemidji State track and field team will return home for outdoor competition on Saturday at Chet Anderson Stadium after a two-year absence. The last time BSU hosted an outdoor competition was in 2002.

The Beaver relays are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. with the field events and will continue as follows...
