Wilson named Athlete of the Week by NSIC

ST. PAUL, Minn. - For the sixth time in his collegiate career, Bemidji State University's Adam Wilson was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference's Male Field Athlete of the week for his performance in the Lee Krough Invitational on Saturday, the league announced today.

Wilson won the hammer throw in record-breaking fashion with the day's best throw of 174-2 in St. Peter, Minn. The new Bemidji State school record also provisionally qualified Wilson to compete in the NCAA Division-II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Among Division-II athletes, Wilson currently ranks 16th in the nation. He also leads the NSIC by nearly 40 feet.

CHANGE IN SCHEDULE:
Bemidji State will no longer be hosting the Beaver Classic on Saturday, April 22. Instead, they will be traveling to North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D., to compete in the Bison Classic.
