Bemidji State University Director of Athletics Dr. Rick Goeb announced the hiring of Shane Gunderson as the head coach of the Beavers’ softball program today, making the former BSU graduate assistant and All-America catcher at the University of Minnesota the 17th head coach in BSU softball history.
Bemidji State University had 26 student-athletes selected to the 2010 Spring Academic All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Team, announced by the league office today.
The Bemidji State University softball team’s games against Wisconsin-Superior this Wednesday have been canceled. With the cancelation the 2010 season comes to a close for BSU. The Beavers finished the season with a record of 8-39 (2-24 NSIC).
