BSU Softball loses two in final day at dome
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Bemidji State University softball team was defeated by intrastate rivals, St. Cloud State and Southwest Minnesota State on Sunday in the final day of the Husky Dome Tournament.

St. Cloud State downed BSU by of score of 18-1 in the 9 a.m. game, while Southwest Minnesota State won by a score of 6-0 over the Beavers in the 3 p.m. game.

The Beavers had seven hits on the day, with Jamie Ford (Sr., LF, Edina, Minn.) recording two in the game against the Huskies. Kaitlin Hill (Fr., IF, Dayton, Minn.) tallied the lone run for BSU on the day while also gaining one hit in both games.

Kelsey Saralampi (Fr., P., Esko, Minn.) pitched the final three innings in the game against SMSU not allowing any runs while giving up three hits.

Bemidji State will return to the Husky Dome on Friday March 5 when they take on Valley City State University at 2 p.m. and Mayville State University at 4 p.m.
