The Beavers knotted the score in the next half inning, as Lyndsey Peterson (Fr., P/IF, Cottonwood, Minn.) and Nicole Dupay (Jr., OF, Woodbury, Minn.) scored.

In the fifth inning, BSU pulled ahead and got the eventual game-winning run when Megan Bergeson (Jr., IF, New London-Spicer, Minn.) made it home on an error. Crystal Bowen (Sr., IF, Duluth, Minn.) then cushioned the Beavers’ lead with a two-RBI single that scored Dupay and Summer Monsrud (So., OF, Bemidji, Minn.).
