BSU has first six NSIC games rescheduled, moved indoors

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University softball team had the first six games of its 2013 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) schedule moved indoors Tuesday. Instead of kicking off league play with the University of Minnesota Crookston Tueday in Crookston, Minn., BSU will now begin a doubleheader against the Golden Eagles Thursday at 6 p.m. in Rosemount, Minn.

Additionally, the Beavers' doubleheaders against Concordia University- St. Paul and Minnesota State University, Mankato Friday and Saturday will now be played at the Savage Community Dome in Savage, Minn. Bemidji State will start play against the Golden Bears Friday at 10 a.m. and will begin its two-game set against the Mavericks Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

BSU last played March 18 when it wrapped up spring training play in Florida with two exhibition wins, following a two-game sweep of Washington D.C.'s Gallaudet University the day before. The Beavers finished spring training with a 4-5 record and enter NSIC action with an overall ledger of 6-11.
